It certainly isn't a perfect device, but for my interest of displaying photos, plus using it as a Google Home device, at this price point I'm hoping to buy another. I find this is a great gift for grandparents - we bought one for my wife's parents, and everyone in the family adds photos to a shared album so they get to see new pictures of their grand kids and family all the time. I've not seen another digital photo frame that automatically updates from your Google Photos that is significantly cheaper than this, and then you can add in all the other functionalities, and I'm happy to pay this current price (the original price of $299 was more than I was willing to pay). I have one, and I'm very happy with it - my main use case is to use it as a digital picture frame that is connected to my Google Photos account. And Nest Wifi points have a speaker with the Google Assistant for extra help around the house. of coverage, it automatically updates itself to get new features and help your network stay safe. I don't understand all the people crapping on this deal just because they don't see a use case for it. Nest Wifi blankets your whole home in fast, reliable Wi-Fi. I like the face recognition and it greets you but that's not necessary Paid $200 years ago but should be worth around $100 now since it's a bit old. But mainly to link my 20 other nest devices with home/away presence sensor with the thermostat and smoke alarms, nest doorbells. I use it to get alerts to see who's taking stuff from my fridge. I think most people that have this don't use it for its full capability.
